Situation
User onboarding and payment activation flows suffered from escalating KYC friction, causing conversion drop-offs, delayed transaction completion, and operational inefficiencies. Existing verification policies applied static compliance rules uniformly across all user segments, amplifying unnecessary verification burdens without proportional risk reduction.

Architect a scalable payment layer and an innovative, risk-adjusted KYC flow to maximize conversion rates and reduce operational costs without compromising strict AML compliance.

Adaptive Verification Orchestration:
Rather than following the industry standard of uniform KYC, I designed a dynamic verification orchestration model that calibrated KYC requirements based on transaction risk signals, reducing unnecessary verification friction while preserving AML integrity.

Orchestrated a cross-provider health management strategy integrating local payment methods (ZaloPay, MoMo) and optimizing underlying currency conversion logic.
